( 3847 viewed : 166 like : 20 comments ) The Transformers line has many imitators… in the form of knockoffs… and these five are much bigger than their original official versions. With two versions of Optimus Prime, and one each of Red Alert, Hound, and Rhinox, the larger toys actually do some justice to the originals. Captain Kyle checks them out to see if they would fit into your collection.

The two Optimus Primes are based on the 2nd iteration of Robots in Disguise and the core class Legacy version of the Autobot leader. The Hound and Red Alert knockoffs are modeled on the War for Cybertron: Siege toys. And Rhinox is a larger version of the War for Cybertron: Kingdom Voyager class toy. All are very similar to their originals, though in some cases there are modifications and improvements. Captain Kyle reviews them to see if they can stand tall against their official counterparts.
