Pakistan s Lahore remained among the top four most polluted cities in the world with an AQI of 230 on Nov 25. In view of this, Pakistan’s Punjab government has announced that educational institutions, government offices will be closed in Lahore. Shrugging off responsibility, state government blamed India and attributed the pollution to stubble burning in neighboring country. The cloud seeding plans to introduce rain that could disperse smog and haze were being worked on, reported Reuters. Notably, National Capital Delhi was on top of the list with an AQI score of 303, while Kolkata was third with AQI of 238. However, Bangladesh’s national capital Dhaka ranked as the second worst in the world with a score of 251.
