Well today I share with you how to make them without using any lard , now let me tell you I experienced making tamales with both shortening and oils and vegetable shortening took the win, from the feel, touch and tasteand the masa floating is proof of the perfect consistencyof course lard is in my opinion bette but vegetable shortening is the best substitute.
