🌟 [ 21 ]   ChatGPT powered NPC Quest 3 1st Unity VR Mixed Reality app, going for a walk on New Years Day vid 1 [ @Tyke _ ]

My 1st Unity project as a complete noob to Unity / VR dev 3 months ago. Demonstrating the fantastic ability of the Quest 3 (dynamic occlusion with Depth API), and ChatGPT such as image recognition and AI powered conversation. Note this has unlimited play space without irritating boundary warning messages, imo boundary/guardian is so unecessary in Passthrough/MR. I am using an old iPhone7 for internet and it keeps cutting out (I m now on the hunt for a better phone), hence the video ending as I trimmed it when I lost internet connection as the NPC can no longer access OpenAI so stops talking. The NPC has a dynamic memory I coded for it so knows stuff about me it learns, walks etc by itself with no controller input from me. Lots of possibilities, I could have an AI running partner or just a walking buddy, I ll get some funny looks though XD. Really enjoyed making this and still have lots of optimizations and other things I want to add. Sorry for the breathing sounds, the mic is very sensitive and I m unfit (I intend to change that).
