Within the last 24 hours, a total of seven (7) murders were recorded in the country.
• The murders took place in La Brea, Morvant, Malick, Chase Village, Gasparillo, and Santa Cruz.
The seven (7) murders are as follows:
The decomposing body of a missing man was found shot to death in La Brea earlier on Thursday 26th September, 2024.
• Mohan Girdharrysingh aka Cut of #12 Sundarsingh Trace Rousillac Village was reported missing on Sunday 22nd September 2024 after he went to hunt manicou and failed to return home.
• Girdharrysingh’s decomposing body was found with gunshot wounds around 2:40pm off the southern main road, La Brea, near Boodoosingh Trace.
46-year-old Stephen Spencer, a corporation worker of Vicky Trace, La Canoa Road, Santa Cruz was found shot to death at his home on Thursday 26th September, 2024.
20-year-old Ravi St. Clair, aka Chubby, of Limehead Road, Chase Village succumbed to his injuries at the hospital on Wednesday 25th September 2024, after he was shot in the head at his home on Tuesday 24th September 2024.
46-year-old David Marryshow aka “lollipop” of 10th Street, Upper 6th Avenue, Malick was shot dead at Florencia Lane, Upper 6th Avenue in Malick, Barataria on Wednesday 25th September, 2024.
An MTS security officer identified as 41-year-old Randell John was shot dead at his home in Warren Road, Gasparillo on Wednesday, 25th September 2024.
32-year-old Kemo Calliste aka Concrete Nail and his cousin 36-year-old Gerald Calliste were killed and at least three other people, among them a toddler was injured in a shooting outside Roxann's Learning and Childcare Center at the corner of Basement Road and Coconut Drive in Morvant on Wednesday 25th September, 2024.
A man who was stabbed multiple times about the body in February said he’s being constantly and openly threatened by the accused on Facebook, and the police aren’t doing anything about it.
