My Information: Twitter: [Click] Twitch: [Click] YouTube: [Click] Discord: [Click] Warlocks I recommend Speaker Sight or Cenotaph w/ Well of Radiance. I don’t recommend the Geomags Chaos Reach unless you’re at first encounter, and that’s because Survivability is ALWAYS going to be more important in contest mode activities, especially a Dungeon where if one person dies twice in a run, it’s a high chance of being a wipe. Titans I recommend the Storms Keep Bolt Charge spam loadout w/ Le Monarque. I don’t know much about this loadout as I rarely play Titan, but it’s very strong and has fantastic survivability especially with the Debriliating Blast artifact mod. Hunters normally I’d recommend Gifted Conviction, and I still would, just make sure to remove Facet of Hope. I think this is better than Inmost Cyrtarachne especially for Contest level activities because it’s less effort for more reward 1 button to get a bunch of DR vs actually needing to pay attention to buff uptime for slightly less DR, but running a Gyrfalcons to Celestial Loadout instead won’t be a bad idea. Ultimately my recommendation for loadouts is to run what you are comfortable with. Do NOT use a loadout you’ve neve rused before and hope for the best. Because the first encounter has a timer, it’s a good idea to stack or hold lenses in advance if you’re worried about the time restriction. What I mean by this is before you have the final wheel in the 1st and 2nd rounds hum to life, make sure two of your teammates are already holding a lens. What that does is reduce how many subjugators you need to kill on subsequent rounds giving you more time. To deal with the subjugators, blinding them is a good idea, which can easily be done using Queenbreaker Bow. Peregrine Greave Titans work wonders too, and because there’s no boss to deal with here, if you have your super you should use it to kill a subjugator. The second encounter is the hardest encounter on contest, but fortunately now that we’re aware that stop extends the damage phase, not commune, this should be a lot easier. We’re also aware of the crit bug and that surges don’t work, and that Bolt Charge is fair and balanced. My recommendation for this encounter is to attempt to never ever ever ever have Ogres spawn in by doing the encounter in the following way: When the encounter starts, shoot the crux if necessary on all four wheels so that it’s spinning in the direction towards the STOP icon. Yes, this includes Wheel 1. After the boss has completed each wheel, gather knowledge to change each wheel to STOP from Left to Right. So wheel 1 then 2, then 3, then 4. Once that’s done, then change Wheel 1 to kill, and wait until damage begins. For damage, you can use Anarchy and Snipers if you’re a Hunter or a Warlock, and if you’re a Titan use the Le Monarque Bolt Charge w/ Storms Keep. My recommendation is to always have at least 1 Warlock on your fireteam. You don’t need a Titan to clear these encounters on Contest, but if you are struggling with damage, including one wouldn’t be a bad idea. Remember that this encounter needs to be completed within 3 damage phases. With what we know now, that shouldn’t be an issue. When enemies spawn during damage, immediately stop damaging the boss and only worry about the enemies. The quicker the enemies die, the faster you’ll be able to easily deal damage to the boss with nothing to worry about. 3rd Encounter The final encounter is hopefully the easiest encounter. You’ll want at least 1 Warlock for Well of Radiance, I recommend 2 because the damage here is quite comfortable and it makes surviving just easier, with 1 Divinity and 2 Queenbreaker Bow. You do NOT need the Queenbreaker Catalyst, so don’t listen to people who say you do. Is it nice? Absolutely. Is it needed? Absolutely NOT. During this encounter, simply go to each zone as a team. Shoot the cruxes to break the lenses one at a time to not waste unnecessary rezzes due to threadlings. The biggest causes of deaths here will be the subjugators, so when you enter a room with a subjugator, don’t be afraid to use your super. Much like Zoetic Lockset, this is a phase enrage, not a time enrage. To open the door to the left side room, Fusion Rifles, Trace Rifles and Machine Guns work well. Obviously only your Divinity should be on a Machine Gun, but your other two can run Fusions or Trace Rifles as they please. Also the Multimach CCX from Banshee is probably the best kinetic primary in the game. There’s always a lot of debate on where to deal damage from, and everyone has their own preferences.
