“We Look Forward to Keep on Investing Heavily in India,”: WEG India MD at TN’s Global Investors Meet
The two-day Tamil Nadu Global Investors Meet (GIM), the government’s ambitious big-ticket event, started on January 7 at Chennai Trade Centre. This edition, which will have 9 partner countries and more than 30 participating nations. The inaugural ceremony of the two-day Tamil Nadu Global Investors Meet was attended by Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal along with state chief minister MK Stalin. Taga Masayuki, Consul-General of Japan in Chennai, said, “We are happy that Japan is a very important partner for infrastructure development. In Tamil Nadu also we are supporting Chennai Metro and other projects. So, I hope our cooperation will be further strengthened.” Jean Carlo Butske, Managing Director at WEG India said, “ .We look forward to keep on investing heavily in India. That’s our plan.
