I had the corporate IT job day after day but it wasn't fulfilling. After finding out about solo long distance backpacking I decided to go on a lot of long backpacking trips and otherwise live out of my converted 4Runner. Driving around this great country and see everything I feel like seeing, mostly outdoor activities, is what I really wanted to do. In 2018 I thru hiked the Pacific Crest Trail, in 2019 I thru hiked the Wonderland Trail, in 2021 I thru hiked the Arizona Trail, and now in 2022 I will be thru hiking the Appalachian Trail.
