In such a situation, the Bihar government on Saturday issued a flood warning along the overflowing rivers like Kosi, Gandak and Ganga in the northern and central parts of the state. The State Water Resources Department (WRD) said in a statement, "Due to heavy rains in Nepal, the flow of water in rivers like Gandak, Kosi, Mahananda etc. has increased significantly on Saturday."
