The ministry said South Korean companies had committed in the short term to invest a total value of 7.3 billion ringgit in Malaysia. They will also buy Malaysian export products worth 70 million ringgit. Meanwhile, Japanese companies have agreed to invest 8.75 billion ringgit and will buy 16.15 million ringgit of Malaysian products.
