“Will you really not despise me, and resolutely stand by my side forever?” – Yun Weishan “My choice is always you.” – Gong Ziyu I actually really enjoyed watching this dark and suspenseful slow-burn romance. This video is about the main leads and finding their warmth and peace with each other. The cinematography, acting, OST, and cast were amazing. My only complaint is the last 5 minutes of the drama. It looks like they were setting up for a Season 2, but I personally felt it wasn’t necessary to end this drama that way. There are so many unanswered questions! It was refreshing to see Esther Yu in a different role if you compare her to some of her previous works, such as Xiao Lanhua from Love Between A Fairy and Devil. I was impressed with her voice, composure and action scenes. She has improved so much. Some thought the main male lead weak, but I thought he had great character growth. He went from a carefree person with no responsibilities to becoming a true leader for his family. He had such a pure heart, especially his love for Yun Weishan. I was using 4K clips for this video and it took longer than expected. I guess I wanted to capture the beautiful scenes of this drama in HD.
