🌟 [ 40 ] My NEW Amex Business Credit Card Strategy (2024) [ @ ]
( 18290 viewed : 497 like : 169 comments ) After American Express raised their annual fees, made their sign-up bonuses more restrictive, and added more coupons to their cards, I thought I’d stop using them and move on to other issuers.
But instead, I got two new American Express Business cards.
In this video, I'll go over why I got the Blue Business Plus card and the Business Platinum card, and you'll get to watch me apply for each credit card!
For the Blue Business Plus card, I was targeted with a sign-up bonus offer of 25,000 MR points after spending $15,000 in purchases in the first 3 months.
Unfortunately, I wasn't targeted for the 75,000 MR points offer, but I still wanted to get this card because of my future plans with American Express moving forward.
I looked around for other elevated sign-up bonus offers on business cards with a higher minimum spend requirement such as the Chase Ink Preferred, Capital One Venture X, and American Express Business Platinum cards. Still, I wasn't confident I could be approved for these cards so I ended up going with the Blue Business Plus card.
However, there was a slight twist! After applying for the Blue Business Plus card, I got targeted for a 150k MR points offer with the Business Platinum 3 weeks later, so I decided to apply for that card, too!
This offer was with no lifetime language so that was an added bonus as well!
Ultimately, I was able to apply for two business cards to capture some planned, elevated spending that was coming up, and I could get some sweet Membership Rewards points while making those expenses through elevated sign-up bonuses!
