Day 3 started at The Highlands Camp with coffee brought to our room bright and early. We enjoyed a beautiful breakfast while watching the sunrise. We made the 1.5 hour drive to the Ngorongoro Crater to start our game drive. We saw so many amazing animals in the crater. The highlight of the day was having 8 lions walk right up to our vehicle. The lions were so close we could hear them breathing as they walked within feet of us. I would highly recommend a visit to the Ngorongoro Crater! In the afternoon we hiked to the Olmoti Crater. It was so beautiful to see the views of the Olmoti Crater and the waterfalls. We had dinner back at The Highlands Camp and got a good nights rest for Day 4!
