Australia in their last game defeated Namibia by 9 wickets. They bowled them out for a paltry total of 72. The Aussies chased it down in just 5.4 overs to qualify for the Super 8s. Scotland on the other hand got over the line against Oman in their previous outing by 7 wickets and 41 balls to spare.
They restricted Oman to 150 for 7 from their 20 overs. In reply riding on George Munsey and Brandon McMullen's quick-fire knocks they chased down the target easily. Munsey made 41 off 20 while McMullen got 61 off 31. Can Scotland pull of the biggest upset in the tournament and beat Australia to knock defending champions England out of the T20 World Cup 2024? We are nearing the climax of Group B with the last group game featuring.

On the other hand Scotland will look to put their best foot forward against the Aussies who do not have much to gain from this clash. That said Australia has strong bench strength and taking them down will be anything but easy for the Scots.
