Sparrowhawks Sparrowhawks are fast, agile hunters. It took me three years of patiently watching before I was able to get a camera on this nest. Sparrowhawk chicks There are four chicks in this nest - quite a squeeze now that they have grown so much. Flight feathers At this stage, their flight feathers are beginning to come through, replacing their soft chick-down. Diet And they are voracious. Watch them devour this blackbird.
