Hasilnya, DPR mengabaikan putusan MK tentang batasan usia calon kepala daerah (cakada) dan menyepakati bahwa seseorang dapat mencalonkan diri jika berusia 30 tahun saat pelantikan. Selain itu, terkait ambang batas pencalonan kepala daerah, Baleg DPR dinilai telah mengakali ketentuannya.
