🌟 [ 1 ] I Entered My First Flatland BMX Contest And WON! [ @ ]

This was my first time ever entering or even being at a flatland contest and it was incredible!!!
I wasn't even going to enter until on my way up to the event. I realized that if there was ever a flatland contest to enter it was this one. A lot of the best flatland riders in the entire world were an hour from my house and I had the opportunity to ride with them in a contest. It was then that I made the decision that I had no choice but to enter and I'm so happy I did! The amount of them who congratulated me and were excited for me is something I'll NEVER forget.
The flatland world welcomed me with open arms. Everyone was so nice and to have so many people say how excited they were I showed up doesn’t even feel real. Thank you all for making me feel right at home!
One thing I took away from the day was that flatland is a family. Everyone comes together as one huge family reunion where everyone loves each other. Everyone cheers for everyone and afterward, no joke 100 people go to one place for dinner where the camaraderie is on a level I’ve never experienced. All of us in the street side of bmx as the flatlanders call it can learn from them and I hope we do. I know I’m going to do my best to help it happen.
It just goes to show that you just never know what can happen if you take a chance. Enter the flatland contest, go for the promotion, talk to the person you’ve never talked to, try the trick you’ve never tried. You just might win
