Speaking on Sunday Morning with Trevor Phillips, Lucy Powell said it was not what we wanted to do , blaming the previous Conservative government for overspending, saying we do look back in anger .

She was also quizzed on the proposed ban on smoking in outdoor spaces, including pub gardens, denying the government was attacking the hospitality industry.
