🌟 [ 2 ]   Protests At Melbourne Weapons Expo Turns Violent

( 14466 viewed : 83 like : 117 comments ) Anti-war protesters at a Melbourne weapons convention have turned violent, with demonstrators lighting bins on fire and hurling horse manure at police.

It is estimated between 2,000 and 3,000 people have gathered outside the Land Forced International Defence Exposition.

Protesters have thrown bottled at attendees of the state-funded expo, blocked off a major intersection nearby and lit several small fires in the CBD.

Police have deployed pepper spray, and while no arrests have yet been confirmed, several people have been seen being detained with handcuffs.
