The shrimp boat was built by Desco Marine of St. Augustine Fl. in 1955. She was said to be the second oldest shrimp boat working the East Coast.
This boat was frequently photographed working of the beaches of St. Simons and Jekyll Islands in Georgia.
The shrimp in Georgia waters will rest easy tonight.
