ATTACK on TITAN: The Musical is based on one of the best-selling manga series of all time with more than 140 million copies sold worldwide. This adaptation of the Japanese comic by Hajime Isayama combines traditional musical theater, state-of-the-art technology and 2.5-dimensional actors. 2.5 dimensional actors are the ones who express and perform as if they just came right out of manga or anime and these actors have become very popular in Japan, the director of the show, Go Ueki explained. This production will be performed in Japanese with English subtitles. It premiered in Osaka and Tokyo in Japan in January 2023. The New York premiere is the first overseas production. It will run from October 11 to 13 at the New York City Center.
