Synopsis :
2001: Do Hazaar Ek (1998) is a mystery thriller directed by Raj N. Sippy, starring Jackie Shroff as Inspector Anil Sharma, Dimple Kapadia as Mrs. Roshni Anil Sharma, Tabu as Billu, and Rajat Bedi as Inspector Rajat Bedi.
The plot revolves around the brutal murder of a call-girl named Julie in Bombay. The killer leaves the number 2001 marked on her body. Two police inspectors, Anil Sharma and Rajat Bedi, are assigned to investigate the case. As more killings occur in the same style, the investigation becomes more complex. The suspects include a prominent Member of State Parliament, Ramaswamy, who is attacked but survives and points an accusing finger at Rajat before falling unconscious again.
The story unfolds with intense drama and suspense as the inspectors try to uncover the truth behind the murders and clear Rajat's name.
It's a gripping tale of crime and mystery.
