( 4017 viewed : 133 like : 5 comments ) Snowbreak Containment Zone is a game that has been on my radar for quite a while. I love anime gacha games like Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail, Wuthering Waves etc. and so I am always interested when I learn of a new game in that same style.
Snowbreak mixes the gacha formula with third person action gameplay as you head through various missions and take out enemies in real time. We have seen cover based action before in games like Nikke, but in Snowbreak you actually get to walk around the level and engage with the enemy directly. Each character has several special ability and of course an ultimate attack that they can use.
The cool thing about the campaign is that the game always offers you trial character to play with so that you never feel the need to open your wallet to strenghten your own character roster. The game was also really generous when it came to giving the player the currency in order to get a chance on receiving certain characters.
The weakest part was that throughout the main campaign there is no voice acting and many of the enviroments lack detail. From what I understand the more recent updates do actually future voice acting and hopefully the enviroments will also be more appealing. I will detinifely archive more Snowbreak in the future as more content updates drop.
