জুলাই-আগস্ট গণহত্যার মামলায় ১৭ ডিসেম্বরের মধ্যে শেখ হাসিনার বিরুদ্ধে তদন্ত প্রতিবেদন জমা দেয়ার নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন আন্তর্জাতিক অপরাধ ট্রাইব্যুনাল। পাশাপাশি শেখ হাসিনাকে কেনো গ্রেফতার করা গেলো না- তা নিয়ে প্রসিকিউশনের প্রতি উষ্মা প্রকাশ করেছেন ট্রাইব্যুনাল।

চিফ প্রসিকিউটর তাজুল ইসলাম বলেছেন, আওয়ামী লীগের প্রভাবশালী নেতারা প্রমাণস্বরূপ; যেনো আগামীর দিনে ফ্যাসিস্ট কেউ হতে না পারে। তাদের অপরাধের পরিসর এতো বেশি যে এসবের তদন্ত প্রতিবেদন তৈরিতে সময় বেশি লাগছে। জানান, তদন্ত প্রতিবেদন তৈরিতে দু'মাস সময় চেয়েছিল প্রসিকিউশন। ১ মাস সময় মঞ্জুর করেছেন আদালত। চিফ প্রসিকিউটর আরো জানান, শেখ হাসিনাকে গ্রেফতারের বিষয়ে আইনশৃঙ্খলা বাহিনীর তথ্য আদালতকে জানানো হয়েছে।

The International Criminal Tribunal has ordered to submission of the investigation report against Sheikh Hasina by December 17 in the case of July-August genocide. Besides, the tribunal expressed its anger towards the prosecution as to why Sheikh Hasina could not be arrested.

Chief Prosecutor Tajul Islam said, the influential leaders of the Awami League are proof; So that no one can become a fascist in the future. The range of their crimes is so high that it takes more time to prepare the investigation report. He said that the prosecution had asked for two months to prepare the investigation report. The court granted 1 month. The chief prosecutor also said that the court had been informed about the arrest of Sheikh Hasina.
