🌟 [ 4 ]   Doesn’t make sense’: Ted O’Brien savages cost of Labor’s energy policy

( 2711 viewed : 146 like : 89 comments ) Shadow Energy Minister Ted O’Brien says the Albanese government’s energy plans are “44 per cent more expensive” than the Coalition’s proposed policy.

New details from Opposition sources have claimed the construction of seven nuclear power plants under the Coalition’s ambitious energy plan will cost $120 billion.

“The argument is that, with that higher energy cost, they can drive more economic growth,” Mr O’Brien told Sky News Australia.

“It just doesn’t make sense whatsoever, but if they want to run that line, I’ll let them try to explain it.” [ 2024-12-16T07:36:34Z ] :flashminiupdate:2024-12-16
