( 2735 viewed : 125 like : 52 comments ) Shadow Treasurer Angus Taylor has responded to the government’s Mid-Year Economic and Fiscal Outlook (MYEFO) for 2024-25.

“Australians are paying a price for a government that simply has had the wrong priorities and has consistently made the wrong decisions when we’re facing a cost-of-living crisis and we’re facing an economy that has been grinding to a halt,” Mr Taylor said during a media conference on Wednesday.

He also hit out at Treasurer Jim Chalmers over the “Orwellian spin” on the government’s mid-year budget update and for having a “plan for nothing”.
