Dr. Suzanne Barakat, whose brother and his wife and sister-in-law were killed in a hate crime in Chapel Hill, NC ten years ago, discussed what gave her the courage to speak out despite her immense grief at the time, as chronicled in “36 seconds: A Hate Crime”, a documentary film by Tarek Albaba.
