( 4811 viewed : 116 like : 24 comments ) Our Contributing Editor Kushan Mitra recently travelled to Mahindra’s 700-acre facility at Chakan outside Pune, Maharashtra, where he got to see how the Indian manufacturer is putting together its upcoming BE6 and XEV9e electric vehicles. In this video, he takes viewers of ThePrint behind the scenes and shows how these electrifying new SUVs are put together. We take an inside look at the battery pack manufacturing, body-panel stamping and the fully robotic body welding, the state-of-the-art paint shop and the BEV final assembly line where Mahindra’s gender diverse workforce assembles these new cars ahead of their launch in the coming weeks.
