The sound of a meteorite hitting Earth has been captured for the first time after striking a man’s home.

Joe Velaidum had just left for a dog walk from home on Prince Edward Island, Canada, on July 25 2024 when he heard a massive crash outside.

Amazing footage captured on Joe’s CCTV camera showed the source – a meteorite plummeting from the sky and landing on the ground to the right of his front door.
