( 552 viewed : 40 like : 66 comments ) Bytedance TikTok ban just went into effect minutes ago! Like I was mid edit, walked away, re logged in and bam, there it was, the notice that our government has banned us, starting, now.
In Breaking News, CapCut which is owned by TikTok is no longer able to be used inside of the United States. While I was expecting congress to pass this law, I was not aware that CapCut would also be banned. This creates a massive issue for folks like me who moved over from paid services like Adobe Premier. Or the free and paid Davinci Resolve
The CapCut, owned by TikTok parent company Bytedance, ban has left me in a bit of a bind, what will I do?
What can you do? Well you can write you senators and congress men and
tell them what you demand back. And even if you don't care, you should as we are no seeing the Great American Firewall take hold and limit our freedoms. I don't want to get political but I am someone who like freedom. And if I am honest none of the sides we have here give a damn about freedom.
Now with the TikTok ban, and the CapCut ban, I assume anything owned by their parent company is no, stuck behind the American firewall. I do not think we should be ok with this and I fear the what is next factor.
