February 8, 2025, Brian and I leave the snow behind and trade it for a breezy day at the Oregon Coast fishing for lingcod and rockfish. The weather forecast is marginal at best, but we trust out kayaks the Hobie Outback and Jackson Knarr kayaks. They are both stable fishing platforms for the elements the ocean can throw at us, within reason... My lures of choice are the Lancer jigs, 6th Sense Fishing Treble Head line-thru swimbait head, and the 1-ounce jigging spoon in the color Jaint Juice.
