Frigid Cleveland temperatures cause issue for firefighters battling house fire
( 497 viewed : 5 like : 0 comments ) Amid frigid Tuesday temperatures in Cleveland, firefighters battled a large house fire in the Glenville neighborhood. Lt. Mike Norman with the Cleveland Division of Fire (CDF) says the fire started burning in the walls of a home on the 10700 block of Garfield Avenue and rose from the first and second floors into the attic. The fire’s location as well as the cold temperatures created immediate challenges. ”Water is our friend on the inside, but it's our enemy on the outside,” said Norman. “On a cold day like this, it's icy conditions on the outside and our equipment freezes. This workout includes a warm up, 20 minutes standing cardio and strength exercises, 20 mins mat exercises for core strength, mobility and flexibility with some great stretches to cool down and ease out the muscles at the end.
