Reserve Bank encouraged by easing inflation, but still cautious: Lesetja Kganyago
( 937 viewed : like : 0 comments ) Reserve Bank Governor Lesetja Kganyago says the central bank is still worried about some components of inflation, despite its slowing trend. Kganyago says they still have to look closely at data for a few more months to be convinced that inflation is where they would like for it to be before any easing of rates is considered. Inflation peaked at 7.8% in the middle of last year and has been decreasing slowly, reaching 4.7% in July.
