My first impressions of Damascus are unforgettable as I explore the old city, walk the ancient streets, and meet some of the most hospitable people I've ever encountered.

I also get to try traditional Syrian dishes like raw kibbeh and yalanji, visit historical sites, and learn firsthand about the challenges and joys of life in Syria.
